今日は沖縄発外国人向けアートとカルチャーのウェブジャーナル COTONOHAのご紹介です！
Today I would like to introduce COTONOHA, an Okinawan art and culture journal for English speakers.
COTONOHA はオンラインを通して沖縄をはじめ世界のアーティストの作品を世界に伝える活動をしています。
世界に発信したくても言葉の壁などでなかなかうまく伝えられなかったり、アートに興味のある外国の方々に直接働きかけのできないアーティストには大変ありがたいものです✨
COTONOHA publishes online journals about artists from Okinawa and the world.
There are a lot of talented artists in Okinawa whose artworks haven’t seen the light of day outside of Japan yet simply because they cannot speak English or they don’t know how to sell themselves, so COTONOHA is a great platform to those artists.

This time, Kiyo is featured on their latest journal! In the interview he talks about his love and passion for Okinawa and art. It must have been very very tough to translate his abstract Japanese to English. I can’t handle it.haha
